Sesame Street Parodies the Old Spice Ad with Grover

Short, blue and furry could be the next tall, dark and handsome.

Once again proving it's not just a show for kids, Sesame Street spoofs the wildly popular Old Spice ad.

Grover preaches the importance of smelling like a monster and of using the word "on" correctly in the parody of the "Man Your Man Could Smell Like" ad featuring Isaiah Mustafa.

Have You Noticed that News is Becoming Info-Porn? Here is a Video Parody from the BBC: "How To Report The News"

Have you noticed that news is becoming Info-Porn?   With multitudes of titles, it comes in many shapes and sizes -- but you know it when you see it.

Follow the formula and the content doesn't seem to matter.  It starts with a lackluster establishing shot, followed by a walking and talking preamble. Next various facts will pop on the screen as if you're watching a bad PowerPoint presentation ...  We are exposed to a seemingly endless variety of sameness.

For a funny take on this, watch Charlie Brooker's - How To Report The News from the BBC.  I thought this short video was well-done and quite clever.

Take a Look at the New $100 Bills

Officials from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Federal Reserve Board and the United States Secret Service unveiled the new design for the $100 note. Complete with advanced technology to combat counterfeiting, the new design for the $100 note retains the traditional look of U.S. currency.

The Internet Is Apparently for Porn

My Internet provider recently doubled the speed of service in our area.  Seemingly everyone I tell makes a joke about quicker access to porn.  In that spirit, here are two videos poking fun at that.

First, the Onion jokes that Congress passed the Pornographic Media Concealment Act, to hide this generation's porn habit from future generations.
